Job Bridge Global is currently seeking a Construction Engineer specializing in EPC Contracts for our client\βs UK operations. In this role, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and project teams, to ensure successful project execution and adherence to EPC contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse EPC contracts and project specifications to understand the project scope, deliverables, and contractual obligations.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements throughout the construction process.
- Coordinate and liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify any deviations from the project plan, and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams to resolve any construction-related issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Manage project documentation and records, including change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Prepare and submit progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting project status, milestones, and any challenges.
- Participate in project meetings, including pre-construction meetings, contractor meetings, and project closeout meetings.
- Bachelor\βs degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Proven experience as a Construction Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of EPC contracts and project management principles.
- Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ability to interpret and understand construction drawings, specifications, and contractual documents.
- Knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Relevant certifications in project management or construction (preferred).
