Our client is looking for a full-time experienced Senior Electrician/QS to join their expanding team to cover the Southwest and West Midlands area.
They are a friendly and progressive company who are proud of their reputation and high level of customer service. Their staff are an important and valued part of their business.
Our client is looking for someone to achieve the highest standard of customer service. They would like you to have a flexible approach and be prepared to travel within the Southwest and West Midlands areas as the role is mobile. The ability to work independently will be essential as will good communication skills.
The job role includes insurance-based repair work at multiple properties per day (fault-finding skills essential), installation work such as consumer units, and general electrical work. They are also looking for you to be an experienced QS. Working hours are on average 40 per week. Some weekend working is necessary (1 weekend in 4 with extra payments).
The minimum requirements needed are:
- Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671 (18th Edition).
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2 Assessment of competence (or equivalent qualification).
- Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations (2391) (or equivalent).
- Valid ECS Gold Card.
- Preferably experience as an Electrical QS under the NIC EIC Competent Persons Scheme.
A company van and fuel card will be provided and a full UK driving license is required. A basic DBS clearance will also be necessary which will be at their cost.
They will provide you with a uniform and a phone allowance of £20 per month.
