Sussex Campervans is a premium campervan manufacturer based near Horsham, West Sussex. We design and build high-quality compact campervans and support customers throughout ownership.
As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a Bookkeeper / Accounts & Administrative Assistant to support the Finance Director with day-to-day financial and office administration. This is a practical, detail-focused role suited to someone who enjoys keeping things accurate, organised and running smoothly behind the scenes.
Bookkeeper / Accounts - The roleWorking closely with the Finance Director, the Bookkeeper will support the business with:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping
- Purchase and sales ledger processing
- Bank reconciliations
- Invoicing and payment tracking
- Credit control support
- Expense processing
- VAT preparation and supporting information
- Liaison with accountants and external advisors
- General office and finance administration
- Maintaining orderly financial records and systems
The role can be tailored depending on experience and hours, with scope to grow responsibilities over time.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FORBookkeeper / Accounts - We're looking for someone who:
- Has bookkeeping or accounts experience
- Is confident working with accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar)
- Is accurate, methodical and well organised
- Can manage confidential financial information professionally
- Is comfortable supporting a senior finance role
- Has good general admin and IT skills
