What you\βll do:
We\βre looking for a skilled 18th Edition Electrician to join our expanding team delivering smart electrical solutions across domestic, commercial, and light industrial sites. You\βll be hands-on with EV charge point installations, Solar PV AC works, and reactive maintenance, helping us drive the UK\βs renewable energy transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission EV charge points in domestic and commercial settings
- Carry out AC electrical works related to Solar PV (inverters, mains distribution, system integration)
- Conduct periodic inspections, testing, and certification (EICs, EICRs, Minor Works)
- Perform diagnostics, fault finding, and reactive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) and NICEIC standards
- Use electronic systems (NIC App, tablet) to complete and upload job documentation
- Liaise with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure smooth project delivery
- Conduct site audits and identify/correct poor practice, supporting consistent high standards What we\βre looking for:
- Fully qualified electrician with 18th Edition BS7671 certification
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing)
- Valid ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician level)
- Full UK driving licence 5+ years\β experience across domestic and commercial installations
- Good communication skills and confident customer-facing experience Strong IT skills for commissioning and reporting apps
