Elevation Recruitment Group are currently supporting a well-established manufacturing business looking for an experienced Fabrication Team Leader to join their production team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fabricator/welder to develop their leadership skills in a busy production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of fabricators/welders, ensuring output meets quality, cost, and delivery targets
- Allocate daily workloads and monitor productivity against schedule
- Support and coach team members, driving skills development and performance
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards across the fabrication area
- Work closely with production, quality, and engineering to resolve issues and improve processes
- Champion lean manufacturing principles (5S, continuous improvement) on the shop floor
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a fabrication/welding environment
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong technical knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and welding techniques (MIG/TIG advantageous)
