We're currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a busy and friendly team within a well-established distribution business. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who enjoys being part of a team and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

What will you be doing?

You'll be providing essential administrative support across the Transport and Warehouse teams, making sure everything is accurate, organised and processed on time. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Processing transport and warehouse paperwork
  • Keeping spreadsheets and internal systems accurate and up to date
  • Managing daily carrier consignments and export paperwork
  • Preparing customer delivery notes and driver paperwork
  • Processing Purchase Orders for incoming supplier deliveries
  • Maintaining an organised filing system
  • Supporting stock counts and producing relevant reports
  • Processing customer credits and checking orders
  • Investigating and reporting any picking, loading or dispatch issues
  • Liaising with drivers, customers, carriers and internal teams
  • Answering incoming calls and dealing with queries professionally
  • Providing support to the wider team when required
  • Covering additional administrative duties during holidays and busy periods
