Flexibility is Essential as a Warehouse Operative:
This role requires full flexibility and is not suitable for fixed-shift workers. You must be able to:
- Work AM and PM shifts
- Work any 5 days out of 7, including weekends
- Adapt to changing business needs
The Role as a Warehouse Operative:
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Using hand-held scanners
- Replenishing and storing stock
- Loading and unloading goods
- Preparing orders for dispatch
- Completing quality checks
- Supporting stock counts and maintaining a safe working area
Some departments involve heavy lifting and manual handling, so you must be comfortable with physical work throughout your shift. Safety shoes are required for some departments.
