We are excited to offer a new Stores Operative opportunity with a busy and well-established fabrication company in Mildenhall, Suffolk. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding team, with full training available and the chance to progress into a supervisory role for the right person!
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a stores, warehouse or manufacturing environment. A valid FLT Counterbalance licence is desirable but not essential, as the company may be able to offer refresher training for the right candidate.
Pay & Hours:
- £13.50 - £15.00+ per hour, depending on experience
- Regular overtime available at enhanced rates
- Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30
- Flexible working hours available
Main Stores Operative Duties:
- Receiving, checking and storing deliveries
- Issuing materials and components to production as required
- Operating a counterbalance forklift to move stock safely around the site
- Supporting general site operations and production activities
- Keeping stock areas organised, tidy and safe
- Carrying out stock checks and supporting inventory control
- Reporting stock discrepancies and ensuring materials are stored correctly
