Are you an experienced Production Operative looking for an immediate start? Do you enjoy practical, hands-on work and working as part of a busy manufacturing team?
We are recruiting for a Temporary Production Operative to join a well-established engineering company. This is a varied, hands-on position supporting the day-to-day production operation and would suit someone with previous manufacturing, engineering or production experience.
About the Role
As a Production Operative, you'll work alongside an experienced team carrying out a range of general production and manufacturing duties. You'll need to be reliable, practical and comfortable working in a busy engineering environment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Supporting general production and manufacturing activities
- Assisting with basic assembly work
- Operating production equipment following training
- Preparing materials and components for production
- Carrying out basic quality and visual checksPacking and preparing finished products
- Moving materials around the production area
- Keeping workstations clean, tidy and organised
- Following production instructions and Health & Safety procedures
- Supporting the wider production team as required
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous production, manufacturing or engineering experience
- Comfortable carrying out practical, hands-on work
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and hardworking
