Production Operative - Sorting & Quality Checking.
Location: Kettering
Hours: Night Shifts. 10pm-6:30am, Monday to Friday. Candidates must arrive 15 minutes before each shift for handover.
Pay: £14.61 per hour
Duties of a Production Operative:
- Cleaning production areas, machinery and equipment to maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Carrying out routine quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Identifying and reporting product defects or quality issues.
- Completing production and quality documentation accurately.
- Supporting production teams with general operational duties.
- Following health & safety procedures and standard operating procedures at all times.
- Assisting with manual handling and movement of materials.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Working towards daily production targets as part of a team.
What we would like from you:
- Previous experience within manufacturing, production, warehouse or FMCG is desirable.
- Experience in a quality-focused environment would be advantageous.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
