Production Operative - Cleaning & Quality Control

Location

Kettering

Hours

Rotating shifts (Mornings: 6:00am - 2:30pm | Afternoons: 2:00pm - 10:30pm | Nights: 10:00pm - 6:30am). Candidates must arrive 15 minutes before each shift for handover.

Pay

£14.61 per hour

Duties of a Production Operative

  • Cleaning production areas, machinery and equipment to maintain high housekeeping standards.
  • Carrying out routine quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Identifying and reporting product defects or quality issues.
  • Completing production and quality documentation accurately.
  • Supporting production teams with general operational duties.
  • Following health & safety procedures and standard operating procedures at all times.
  • Assisting with manual handling and movement of materials.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Working towards daily production targets as part of a team.

  • Previous experience within manufacturing, production, warehouse or FMCG is desirable.
  • Experience in a quality-focused environment would be advantageous.
