This is a brilliant opportunity to join a fast-paced business and take charge of driving productivity, quality, H&S and continuous improvement across the shift.
Monday – Friday, days/afters
£45,000 - £48,000
Key Responsibilities of the Production Shift Manager include:
- Lead and motivate production teams to achieve daily and long-term operational targets
- Ensure products are manufactured to the correct specification, quality standards and efficiency levels
- Monitor performance data and drive improvements using KPIs
- Analyse downtime and work closely with Maintenance to improve equipment performance
- Manage labour planning to meet production schedules while controlling costs
- Provide clear communication and effective handovers between shifts
- Take full responsibility for health and safety on shift, ensuring compliance with policies
- Develop, coach and upskill your team
- Manage performance, absence, training and all 1stline management responsibilities
- Ensure quality systems are followed and maintain an audit-ready environment
- Investigate quality issues and implement preventative improvements
- Promote and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the shift
