We are looking for a reliable General Hand to join a manufacturing company in Haverhill, Suffolk, producing tanks and generators. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity paying £13-£14 per hour, working Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:30, with a 30-minute unpaid break.
The role involves helping to fit units using hand and power tools, along with occasional yard duties. This is a hands-on position suited to someone practical who enjoys varied work within a manufacturing environment.
General Hand Duties:
- Assisting with fitting and assembling units
- Using a range of hand and power tools
- Carrying out occasional yard duties
- Handling materials and goods safely
- Following health and safety procedures and keeping the work area tidy
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience using hand and power tools
- A practical, hands-on approach to work
- Good awareness of health and safety
- Reliable, with a willingness to learn and support the wider team
