Role: Powder Coater - Brentwood
Location: Brentwood
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Pay: £27,000-£30,000
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Powder Coater to join a busy and well-established manufacturing company based in Brentwood. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes.
Key Responsibilities of a Powder Coater
- Preparing metal components for the powder coating process, including cleaning, masking and hanging parts.
- Applying powder coatings using electrostatic spray equipment.
- Operating curing ovens and ensuring products are finished to a high standard.
- Carrying out quality inspections on completed work and rectifying any defects where required.
- Loading and unloading parts safely throughout the coating process.
- Maintaining spray booths, equipment and work areas in line with health & safety procedures.
- Working closely with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Supporting general manufacturing duties as required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in powder coating is essential.
- Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and safety conscious.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
