This is an exciting opportunity for a senior HR professional to support the design and delivery of the People strategy by working in collaboration with the executive and operations teams to support the successful delivery of strategic goals. The company has a planned schedule of further acquisitions, so in addition to an initial seat at the table, the role has the potential for future career development and growth.

You will be responsible for the creation of an HR function which will support approximately 1400 employees who are based at regional sites across the UK. Your direct reports will include a Payroll Manager and 4 HR and Payroll Administrators.

The working arrangements require hybrid flexibility to work at home or from the Head Office in central Manchester; the ability to travel within the UK with some overnight stays when necessary; and the possession of a full, clean UK driving licence.

Your professional expertise:

  • Significant experience of working as an HRBP/HR Manager in a multisite, highly regulated environment
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of HR processes and practices
  • Knowledge of employment legislation, EU directives and regulatory requirements and TUPE
  • Experience of organisational change processes – divestments and acquisitions
  • Experience of working within a forward-thinking commercial environment
  • Experience of leading strategic change and transformation projects
  • Ability to interpret and analyse HR and commercial data
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent) with CPD
