We are looking for a proactive, commercially aware Key Account Manager to join a friendly, close-knit team in Wakefield. This is a permanent hybrid role, you will be office based 3 days a week and home based two, although national travel is required.

You will take full responsibility for managing and growing key retail accounts, with a focus on building strong customer relationships, driving sales, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. The ideal person will be commercially astute, have a proven track record of meeting targets and have previously dealt with Asda.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage key retail accounts and drive account growth.
  • Build strong relationships with buyers, merchandisers, and technologists.
  • Oversee new product development and seasonal launches.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure seamless service and delivery.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting, costing, and profit analysis.
  • Support quality issue resolution and ensure high service standards.
  • Travel to customer/supplier sites and locations as needed.
About You:
  • Proven experience managing major retail accounts (ideally in home textiles or department store sector).
  • Results-driven with strong commercial and customer focus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working flexibly and meeting KPIs.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
  • DBS check is required for this position.
