We’re working with a dynamic, fast-growing organisation that delivers specialist HR support across a diverse client base, including education and commercial settings. They’re now looking to appoint a confident and capable HR Advisor to join their expanding team. The role:
- As HR Advisor, you’ll provide day-to-day and specialist HR advice to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, managers, and key decision-makers.
- You’ll manage a varied caseload covering employee relations matters such as disciplinaries, grievances, capability, sickness absence, and organisational change.
- Provide generalist HR advice to managers across a range of areas including employee relations, recruitment, performance, attendance, wellbeing, and organisational change.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and trade union representatives.
- Manage a varied HR caseload, ensuring timely and accurate case handling.
- Work closely with senior colleagues to support delivery of HR programmes, including audits, training, briefings, and policy updates.
- Support client retention through strong relationship management with key stakeholders.
- Ensure risks are appropriately managed and escalated to minimise reputational impact.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of HR advice and casework.
- Support HR projects and assignments, including work on client sites where required.
- Stay up to date with employment law and HR best practice, applying changes effectively.
- Assist in developing HR resources and materials to support service delivery.
- Provide administrative support across the HR function, including DBS and safeguarding checks.
- Draft correspondence and attend meetings or hearings for employee relations cases as required.
- Support smooth handovers of cases within the HR team to ensure continuity of service.
- Undertake client visits to provide advice and support where appropriate.
- Attend and contribute to formal meetings in line with experience and capability.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards).
- Experienced in generalist HR and employee relations casework.
- Comfortable advising managers and senior stakeholders.
- Confident working in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.
- Knowledgeable in employment law and HR best practice.
- Organised, resilient, and solutions-focused.
- A strong communicator who builds trust quickly.
