We’re working with a dynamic, fast-growing organisation that delivers specialist HR support across a diverse client base, including education and commercial settings. They’re now looking to appoint a confident and capable HR Advisor to join their expanding team. As HR Advisor, you’ll provide day-to-day and specialist HR advice to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, managers, and key decision-makers. You’ll manage a varied caseload covering employee relations matters such as disciplinaries, grievances, capability, sickness absence, and organisational change.

  • Provide generalist HR advice to managers across a range of areas including employee relations, recruitment, performance, attendance, wellbeing, and organisational change.
  • Manage a varied HR caseload, ensuring timely and accurate case handling.
  • Work closely with senior colleagues to support delivery of HR programmes, including audits, training, briefings, and policy updates.
  • Ensure risks are appropriately managed and escalated to minimise reputational impact.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of HR advice and casework.
  • Support HR projects and assignments, including work on client sites where required.
  • Stay up to date with employment law and HR best practice, applying changes effectively.
  • Assist in developing HR resources and materials to support service delivery.
  • Provide administrative support across the HR function, including DBS and safeguarding checks.
  • Draft correspondence and attend meetings or hearings for employee relations cases as required.
  • Support smooth handovers of cases within the HR team to ensure continuity of service.
