We’re partnering with a fast growing and dynamic organisation that supports a diverse portfolio of clients, including education providers and multi-site employers. They are seeking a proactive and detail-focused HR Officer to join their team, playing a key role in delivering high-quality HR administration, advisory support, and project-based work. This is a varied and engaging position combining HR operations, advisory support, and communications activity. You’ll sit at the heart of day-to-day HR delivery, ensuring efficient service levels while also contributing to wider client projects and business development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have 12–18 months’ experience in a HR administrative role and be looking to develop their career into a more advisory position. There is significant scope for progression within the role.
Key responsibilities include:- Managing HR administration including contracts, employment changes, DBS checks, occupational health referrals, and HR system updates
- Monitoring and managing HR ticketing systems to ensure timely resolution of queries
- Supporting HR advisory activity, including guidance on attendance, wellbeing, recruitment, and employee relations matters
- Drafting clear and professional HR correspondence and documentation for both formal and informal casework
- Assisting with the coordination of client training and preparation of materials
- Contributing to webinars, blogs, and marketing content to support service growth
- Supporting project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
We’re looking for someone organised, confident, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll enjoy variety in your workload and be able to balance accuracy with efficiency.
Ideally, you will have:- Strong experience in office-based administration (HR exposure desirable)
- A good understanding of HR processes and employment legislation
- Experience drafting professional HR documentation and correspondence
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and approachable manner
- CIPD qualification (or working towards one) – desirable
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
- A genuine interest in HR, people processes, and service improvement
- Commercial awareness and an interest in supporting business growth
