A leading supplier within the UK events sector is seeking a highly organised, detail-focused HR & Payroll Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced team on a permanent basis. This varied role supports the HR & Payroll Manager and is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working with people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record daily employee absences
  • Support payroll with daily hour checks and use of vehicle tracking software
  • Process employee fines
  • Complete data input and compliance checks
  • Check and approve subcontractor invoices
  • Support onboarding: conduct inductions and issue contracts
  • Add new starters to payroll and issue P45s to leavers
  • Schedule training and renew staff qualifications/cards
  • Assist with arranging crew during peak periods
  • Maintain HR records, holiday logs, and personnel spreadsheets
  • Send HR-related letters and correspondence
  • Support recruitment including interview scheduling and liaising with agencies
  • Maintain personnel folders and online filing
  • Process staff expenses
  • Issue fuel cards and carry out driving licence checks

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Previous office-based experience
  • Excellent administrative and organisational abilities
  • High attention to detail and strong time management
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure
  • Multilingual abilities are an advantage

£28,000 per annum
21 days' holiday + 8 bank holidays (plus 1 extra day per year of service)
3% company pension contribution
Casual dress code
Flexibility when required

Working Hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm
Saturday working on a rota basis (approx. 1 in 6, May–November), paid in addition to salary
One late night per week until 8pm on a rota basis (May–October), paid in addition
