Jo Holdsworth Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit an experienced Risk & Compliance Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the organisation’s risk management and compliance framework, ensuring robust governance, regulatory adherence, and effective operational controls across the business. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic oversight and operational delivery.
The Role
- Take ownership of the risk and compliance function, working closely with senior stakeholders to:
- Maintain and enhance the organisation’s risk management framework
- Oversee risk reviews, controls monitoring, and internal reporting processes
- Support regulatory compliance and provide practical guidance to the business
- Lead compliance monitoring activities and internal audit reviews
- Contribute to board and regulatory reporting
- Support ESG and quality assurance initiatives, including relevant certification standards
- Provide training and promote a strong risk and compliance culture
- Continuously improve policies, procedures, and internal controls
About You
- Proven experience in risk management and compliance
- Strong knowledge of governance frameworks and internal controls
- The ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements pragmatically
- Experience supporting audits and producing management information
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A high level of attention to detail and personal accountability
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- A relevant professional qualification and experience with quality management frameworks would be advantageous.
