We are supporting a well-established legal services organisation in the search for a Reception & Office Assistant to join on a 6-month temporary basis, with a mid-May start required.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, people-facing role, combining front-of-house responsibilities with general office support in a busy, professional environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting as the first point of contact, providing a warm, professional welcome to all visitors
  • Managing incoming calls, emails, and enquiries with confidence and efficiency
  • Coordinating meeting rooms, diaries, and hospitality requirements
  • Preparing and serving refreshments for meetings and events
  • Keeping reception and meeting spaces organised and presentable
  • Supporting the wider office with:
  • Post, couriers, and deliveries
  • Stationery and office supplies
  • Archiving and file management
  • General admin tasks such as photocopying and document preparation

What We’re Looking For

  • A confident, friendly, and professional individual who enjoys working with people
  • Comfortable and confident on the phone, with a clear and personable communication style
  • Previous experience in a reception/office support or similar role (professional services or legal experience is a bonus)
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, team-focused approach with the ability to stay calm under pressure

Salary: £13.48 per hour

Location: Sheffield city centre (S1)

Start date: 11th or 18th May

Duration: 6 months
