As they continue to grow, they are looking for a commercially astute Senior Finance Business Partner to provide data-driven financial insights and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business. This is a permanent role in Leeds working on a hybrid pattern, 3 days a week in office.
In this high-impact role, you will work directly alongside the MD, acting as a strategic advisor to drive business growth. What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to senior leaders, providing data-driven insights to enhance business performance.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Analyse financial trends, risks, and opportunities—translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Support business growth by delivering financial models, scenario analyses, and profitability insights.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Leverage Excel and Power BI to create dynamic financial models, reports, and dashboards.
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, ensuring accuracy and relevance in decision-making.
- Continuously refine financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency and impact.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships across the organisation, fostering a culture of financial awareness and accountability.
- Communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders, empowering them with valuable insights.
- Support senior leadership with compelling financial presentations and recommendations.
Management & Financial Accounting
- Deliver accurate monthly management accounts and oversee financial reporting processes.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Maintain oversight of function spend, cost control, and financial discipline across the business.
- Partner with head office teams to produce comprehensive financial reports and ensure seamless data flow.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial systems, controls, and processes.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, evolving accounting standards, and best practices—implementing changes where needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
- Proven finance business partnering experience, with a strong commercial mindset.
- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, financial modelling).
- Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- A self-starter who can work independently while collaborating with a wider global finance team.
