I’m working with a leading healthcare business that is looking to hire a Business Development Executive to support their continued growth across the UK, Australia, and Veterinary markets. The role is full time, permanent and offers hybrid and flexible working.

Working closely with an experienced Business Development Manager, this role will focus on identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting key accounts within primary care and healthcare. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career in business development.

The Role

  • Supporting new business development across primary care (GP practices, PCNs, healthcare organisations) and Veterinary markets
  • Researching and building a pipeline of prospective clients
  • Supporting outreach, lead generation, and follow-up activity
  • Assisting with the management of key client accounts alongside the BDM
  • Identifying opportunities to introduce additional services to existing clients
  • Keeping up to date with market trends, sector challenges, and funding
  • Collaborating with marketing on targeted campaigns and promotional activity
  • Supporting sales activity reporting and client feedback analysis

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in a business development, sales, or client-facing role
  • An interest in healthcare and/or recruitment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
