This is a rare opportunity to shape, build, and deliver a flagship event concept. With a clear vision for growth, the Event Director will take full ownership of creating a large-scale, high-impact event that sets a new benchmark in its market.
The Role
As Event Director, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and execution of a set of events, from initial concept through to delivery and post-event analysis. You will define the event strategy, secure key partnerships, and ensure a commercially successful outcome.
We are looking for someone who has successfully delivered a large-scale event within the last 12 months and can demonstrate a strong track record of driving attendance, revenue, and overall event success. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is excited by the challenge of building something new.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the creation, planning, and execution of a flagship event
- Developing and delivering a commercially viable event strategy with clear revenue targets
- Building and managing supplier, sponsor, and partner relationships
- Overseeing marketing and audience acquisition strategies to drive attendance and engagement
- Managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and ensuring profitability
- Recruiting, leading, and developing an events team from the ground up
- Ensuring exceptional delivery standards and a standout attendee experience
Salary & Benefits
Salary: £100,000 – £125,000 (dependent on experience)
