Are you an experienced account manager or internal sales executive looking for your next career move?

We are supporting our client with an exciting opportunity for an account manager within a fast growing business. The role of Account Manager is a fantastic opportunity to join an established company to progress your career.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of customers and will be responsible for the developing of new and existing business relationships, introducing customers to the full range of products and services, you will also be the first point of contact for all of the customers needs and requirements.

The ideal candidate must have previous sales or account management experience.

Your Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for all account management activities for a variety of customer types.
  • Develop contacts and relationships with customers that ensure you are first choice when placing orders, first refusal in any competitive situation and to be familiar with customer’s regular requirements.
  • To assist with stock holding in ensuring accurate stocks are maintained to service customer requirements.
  • Be a key customer contact, developing close relationship and suitable networks.
  • Develop and agree methods to obtain additional new business.
  • Proactively seek out new opportunities and follow up initial sales leads.
  • Hold monthly meetings to discuss your accounts activity.
  • Grow and nurture existing client base.
  • Respond to all inbound queries.

  • A proven ability to plan and execute business development strategies.
  • A successful track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
