JnS Sound & Lighting is seeking a dependable and proactive Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day running of the business. This is a varied role combining transport coordination, operational admin, and practical warehouse support. It suits someone organised, hands-on, and comfortable managing a mix of logistics, systems, and real-world tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with transport planning, vehicle scheduling, and logistics coordination
- Managing vehicle records including servicing, inspections, compliance, and defect logs
- Supporting general operations administration and record-keeping
- Liaising with suppliers, garages, and service providers
- Helping maintain organised warehouse systems and preparing equipment when required
- Assisting the team with day-to-day operational tasks across departments
- Performing and recording regular weekly / monthly tasks required by the business
- Helping develop processes to increase the efficiency of day-to-day operations
Ideal Candidate
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Practical, hands-on mindset and able to solve problems independently
- Confident using computers and standard office systems
- Good communication skills and reliable time management
- AV industry experience advantageous but not essential
- Previous admin, logistics, warehouse, or technical experience beneficial
- Full UK driving licence preferred
