The JN Group are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead a supported accommodation service for young people aged 16-17. The service aims to provide a safe, supportive environment that promotes independence and positive outcomes for young people preparing for adulthood.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the supported accommodation service
  • Ensure compliance with the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 and Ofsted requirements
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people at all times
  • Develop, implement and review support plans, risk assessments and placement plans
  • Supervise, support and develop staff, including inductions and performance management
  • Ensure effective safeguarding procedures are followed, including responding to and reporting incidents appropriately
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, placing authorities and partner agencies
  • Monitor and improve service quality through audits, feedback and continuous improvement processes
  • Provide effective leadership, direction, and management of the home and staff team
  • Ensure the home operates in line with its Statement of Purpose
  • Create a positive, child-centred culture
