We are currently working with a business with operations across the UK that is recruiting for a Cyber Security Operations Lead to join them on a permanent basis. The role will be a combination of hands-on and leadership, overseeing Information and Cyber Security Analysts and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day security operations. This is a hybrid role, initially with two-to-three days per week on-site, then reducing to one day per week on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and supporting Security Analysts, including triage of incidents
- Ensuring that the team perform scheduled checks, maintain security controls and resolve any user issues
- Owning and developing the relationship with the outsourced SOC team
- Working closely with engineers to ensure security controls remain up to date
- Carrying out reporting on security incidents, ensuring relevant reporting metrics are in place
- Identifying opportunities for automation and improvement in tools and workflows
- Running programmes to test security controls and measures
