We are currently working with a local authority in London that is actively recruiting for a Power BI Analyst/Developer to join on an initial 3-month contract. This is a hybrid role with two days per week on-site.
Role responsibilities:
- Contribute to the rollout of Power BI dashboards across the organisation
- Leading on development of specific areas of the dashboards, ensuring high performance with large datasets
- Creating reporting solutions in Power BI
- Ensure that dashboards can receive data from multiple sources and perform transformations in Power Query
- Optimising navigation features within Power BI to improve user experience
- Producing documentation and SQL scripts to be used for data transformation
- Managing all dashboards and data sources
- Writing QA procedures for Power BI dashboard development
Key skills and requirements:
- Strong Power BI development experience
- The ability to design and deliver Power BI dashboards
- Fluent in DAX code
- Strong data modelling abilities
- Experience writing SQL queries
- Experience using Power BI to write reports
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop stakeholder relationships
