Electrical Engineer – £40,000 – £48,000 pa Onsite role. JNC are working closely with a market leading organisation near Barnsley that are looking for bring on a talented Electrical Engineer to work on Data Centre related Power and Control Systems. Responsibilities: Deliver resilient power projects to high standard and in line with company policies. Undertake training in new control systems as and when needed. Work with company specialist contractors. Work with PMs and design teams on the preparation of specification briefs. Ensure all Risk Assessment and Method Statements are right for resources. Attend regular client and project meetings. Ensure acceptance testing on equipment is completed in line with key specifications. Ensure any all work is in line with the clients standard operating procedures and Health and Safety regulations. Review technical submissions and proposals. Ensure quality control systems and procedures are maintained at all times. Experience: Extensive experience managing and supporting electrical and power systems. Good understanding of Control Systems. Experience working with and delivering Standby/Backup power systems. UPS and Generators. Experience working in mission critical environments. Must have engineering qualification or Engineering discipline experience. Ideally hold a ECS gold card. Must have BS7671qualification for national standard for electrical installations Experience with Low Voltage (LV) panel configurations and safe switching procedures. Health and Safety (CDM) experience. Ideally have SMSTS or IOSH.
