JNC are working closely with a growing Law Firm in Central London that is looking to bring on a Data Governance Manager on a permanent basis. This is a first hire into this type of position for the firm and will give the post holder the exciting opportunity to create something new.
Experience Required:
- Strong Data Governance & Master Data Management experience in a Law firm.
- Experience creating and defining data management and governance frameworks.
- Experience with Law Firm systems and applications.
- Experience leading and supporting change as well as gathering requirements and creating business cases.
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills.
- Strong understanding of data models and data reporting technologies (SQL & PowerBI).
Responsibilities:
- Define and create a data management and governance strategy.
- Create relevant documentation that aligns the firm's business and legal practices strategy.
- Assess Compliance requirements.
- Act as the SME for the firm for governance and data management.
- Gain a deep understanding of how data is captured and used across the firm.
- Work closely with senior partners and operational teams to identify areas for improvement.
