JNC are working with a leading professional services client near Swanley that are looking for a talented Cloud Engineer to join a newly created team on a permanent basis. Only candidates with strong Azure skills as well as hands-on experience working with Kubernetes and containerisation can be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Azure Cloud architecture using PaaS, SQL and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Work closely with other teams on the integration and delivery of cloud solutions.
- Help maintain and implement new cloud security controls.
- Work closely with Infrastructure and DevOps teams on cloud security best practice and CI/CD Pipelines.
- Optimise AKS environments.
- Ensure cluster configuration and container lifecycle management is in line with best practice.
- Use your experience of cloud networking and security to secure environments.
- Manage IAM and key management systems across Azure.
Experience Required:
- Must have extensive experience in Azure cloud engineering and support.
- Hands-on skills with Azure and IaC tooling like Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments, including cluster configuration, container lifecycle management, and operational resilience.
- Knowledge of cloud-native monitoring and observability tools.
- Azure certifications would be a bonus but not essential with relevant experience.
- Experience with Docker is a bonus.
- Experience with HashiCorp ecosystem is a bonus.
