MMB has successfully extended its contract with Thames Water for an additional five years.
As the largest water and wastewater provider in the UK, Thames Water serves 15 million customers throughout London and the Thames Valley.
This extension will carry the current agreement through to the end of AMP8 in March 2030.
MMB is delivering work on three frameworks in the region, which sees us undertake a varied programme of water and wastewater non-infrastructure and infrastructure projects to improve the network.
With sites located across the Thames Valley region including; Aylesbury, Banbury, and Reading.

As a Mechanical Engineer you\’ll work on projects that make a real difference to our environment and our communities
– from improving flood defences, to upgrading water treatment works and providing nature-based solutions that improve biodiversity.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the mechanical functions throughout the lifecycle of various projects.
From concept design to commissioning, you will ensure that all mechanical aspects are meticulously considered and integrated.
The role of a Mechanical Engineer includes: With a focus on mechanical installation techniques, materials and process plants, help integrate the design, construction and commissioning of plant and equipment.
Plan and programme the M&E aspects of the projects we deliver; working with design and operational teams(Civil, Mechanical & Electrical).
During the construction phase, duties will include; overseeing subcontractors, ensuring installations meet standards, monitoring/conducting testing, reviewing risk assessments, and overseeing mechanical safety.
You will support the creation of commissioning plans, particularly with respect to outage planning and transition from existing to new processes.
You should have a focus on Quality Assurance via management of project inspection and test plans, acceptance documents, training materials, and completion documentation.
Supporting and mentoring Apprentices and Graduate Mechanical engineers.
