We are seeking a 4D Planner (Construction Rehearsal Lead) who has construction knowledge or experience, to facilitate Construction Rehearsals and ensure consistency in MMB\'s approach to 4D planning.
The role of a 4D Planner (Constrcution Rehearsal Lead) includes:
  • Collaborate with the Contract Managers responsible for the programme to assist them with their planning needs.
  • Facilitate Construction rehearsals using a range of digital tools and specialist software such as Synchro 4D Pro.
  • Liaise directly with Unit Digital Leads to understand unit specific project needs with regards to undertaking Construction Rehearsals.
  • Liaise directly with Contract Managers, Site Managers, Designers and Planners involved in the project.
  • Liaise directly with BIM Leads to facilitate modelling requirements.
  • Liaise with 3rd Parties, such as sub-contractors and clients, to facilitate the requirements of the Construction Rehearsal, with regards to programme and modelling.
  • Lead Construction Rehearsal workshops with key stakeholders on site.
  • Interpret information and independently implement Construction Rehearsal.
  • Facilitate Construction rehearsal output using appropriate visualisation workflows - e.g., Clipchamp, Synchro 4D Pro Animator, 3DS Max, Twinmotion , Unreal Engine.
  • Establish a community of construction rehearsal enthusiasts (as part of the Digital Delivery Practice) who can develop their competence in both the technology and process/facilitation of rehearsals to grow our capabilities in both MMBC and potentially supporting other regions.

What you\'ll need:
  • Construction experience of medium to large civil engineering projects.
  • Ability to Navigate 3D Models and understand how models are authored.
  • Technology appreciation
  • Ability to review and meet programme dates, mitigate risk, realise opportunities and delivery zero harm.
  • Constructively challenge programmes on buildability.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the Contract Managers to advise and challenge the plan.
  • Programming experience in MS Project, P6 or similar and understanding of the 3 Levels of Planning.
  • Ability to navigate Models - Understand of Tree Building, Resources etc.
  • Synchro 4D Pro. (training provided for the role)
  • A willingness to travel to Sites/Offices throughout MMB where required.
