JN Technical are currently seeking a Document Controller on behalf of a specialist Engineering contractor. In this role you will be responsible for managing and administrating all project records for the engineering department. This will require using the appropriate electronic data management system. You will be responsible for supporting the handover and assurance processes, from a documentation perspective. In addition, you will ensure the review of documentation is undertaken in accordance with our clients' procedures and processes.
Key skills and experience required:
- Experience of working with the UK Construction industry
- Excellent administration and organisation level
- Proficient IT ability in Microsoft Software Systems
- Working knowledge of EDMS for records tracking, archival, retention, and storage
- Knowledge of document management standards, procedures and instructions
- Experience of documentation and processes within an engineering-based environment
- Knowledge of Design, Vendor, Construction, NEC3 Data processes
- Knowledge of a typical Engineering construction project lifecycle
