JN Technical is recruiting a Junior Tekla Detailer on behalf of a UK structural steel contractor. You’ll assist in delivering large-scale steelwork packages across multiple sectors while developing your detailing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation of accurate Tekla Structures models for building and steel structures in line with project specifications.
- Produce fabrication and GA drawings from client and design team information.
- Generate NC data and component drawings for workshop use.
- Assist in preparing reports and exports for STRUMIS fabrication software.
- Maintain drawing accuracy and deadlines in accordance with project programmes.
- Apply current UK drawing practices and standards under senior guidance.
- Manage workload effectively while maintaining high attention to detail.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in structural steel detailing.
- Working knowledge of Tekla Structures and 3D steel modelling.
- Exposure to the UK steel fabrication industry.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
