JN Technical is recruiting a Junior Tekla Detailer on behalf of a UK structural steel contractor. You’ll assist in delivering large-scale steelwork packages across multiple sectors while developing your detailing skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation of accurate Tekla Structures models for building and steel structures in line with project specifications.
  • Produce fabrication and GA drawings from client and design team information.
  • Generate NC data and component drawings for workshop use.
  • Assist in preparing reports and exports for STRUMIS fabrication software.
  • Maintain drawing accuracy and deadlines in accordance with project programmes.
  • Apply current UK drawing practices and standards under senior guidance.
  • Manage workload effectively while maintaining high attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in structural steel detailing.
  • Working knowledge of Tekla Structures and 3D steel modelling.
  • Exposure to the UK steel fabrication industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.
