Here at JN Bentley we are looking for an enthusiastic and positive Skilled Operative Groundworker who lives in and around the Coventry area. In the role you will work as part of a gang on various construction sites, predominantly within the water industry. You will have a proactive attitude towards work and health and safety, with experience ideally of general civils work, concreting, deep drainage and pipe laying. The ideal candidate should be multi-skilled and able to work on the machines as well as on the ground within the gang. This role is not for a dedicated Plant Operative.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a gang on construction sites, with a focus on water industry projects.
- Maintain health and safety standards and perform general civils tasks including concreting, deep drainage and pipe laying as required.
- Operate machinery as well as perform groundworker duties within the gang.
Qualifications
- Experience within a wide range of Civil Engineering – particularly general civil work, concreting, deep drainage and pipe-laying and experience in the water industry.
- CSCS Touchscreen.
