We have secured a new framework with Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water that will last up to eight years, allowing MMB to tackle projects across the DCC region covering both clean and wastewater treatment sites, below ground assets, reservoirs and nature‑based solutions. After securing our first framework with DCC at the beginning of AMP6, our presence in Wales has grown significantly, directly employing over 270 colleagues in the country across all roles, from frontline construction to design and management positions.
Role Overview
As a Site Agent, you’ll be integral to our operational team, contributing to every phase from tendering and design to construction, commissioning and handover. You’ll lead projects that enhance our environment and communities — from improving flood defences, to upgrading water treatment works and providing nature‑based solutions that improve biodiversity.
Responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with the design and commercial teams to enhance delivery efficiency and promote opportunities while managing risk.
- Managing the site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the quality required by the client.
- Involvement with site level procurement, subcontractor logistics and H&S reporting.
- Informing the client about project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Acting as a Temporary Works Coordinator, overseeing the installation of temporary works to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Qualifications
- CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS certification.
- HNC / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Understanding civil engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent organisation and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.
