We are currently seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our team and lead our recruitment efforts across our Operational teams across the southern regions of our business. Collaborating closely with the Operations Managers, you’ll take ownership of roles from initial approval right through to offer. This is a fast-paced role, and you will drive recruiting initiatives and strategies, ensuring that we deliver a top candidate experience and build a robust talent pipeline for future projects. This is an exciting time to join JN Bentley as we head into the AMP cycle in the UK water sector and recruit for teams who deliver projects that make a real difference to local communities.
The Role Of a Recruiter Includes:
- Continuously explore innovative recruitment strategies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in attracting and selecting talent
- Source, attract, and engage qualified candidates through various channels
- Build strong relationships with candidates, hiring teams, and external stakeholders
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies tailored to the specific needs of our projects
- Make data‑driven decisions and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand project requirements and align recruitment efforts accordingly
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date candidate records and documentation
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist, preferably within the construction, engineering, or water sector
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and talent acquisition tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive and results‑oriented mindset, with a track record of meeting recruitment targets and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
The role will be based in Skipton with 3 days in the office and occasional UK travel to meet hiring managers.
