MMB has been named a capital delivery partner on two multiâmillionâpound 'lots' that will see the company deliver projects across the region through to 2030 â with the potential for a fiveâyear extension into AMP9 thereafter. Wessex Water serves 2.9 million customers with water and sewerage services across the south west of England. Set for record investment in AMP8 â more than double that of AMP7 â MMB will bring its strong track record of innovation and directâdelivery to drive a programme of work to improve water and wastewater treatment, water and wastewater networks, storm overflows, flooding resilience and bioresources.
With sites located across the South of the region including Poole, Dorset and Bournemouth.
The Role Of a Site Engineer Includes:
- Ensuring standard company procedures are adopted in carrying out settingâout operations as per the test and inspection, and that effective methods of communication are used in transmitting information to operatives and subcontractors.
- Site Management and carrying out 'as built' surveys on completed works.
- Assist the Site Manager in the initial setâup, ensuring company systems and procedures are in place and implemented; supporting the Site Manager in maintaining and enforcing safety standards throughout the project; supporting the site team in planning and monitoring output.
- Financial Control and ensuring company cost systems are kept up to date by logging material deliveries, managing and reviewing plant levels.
- Assisting the Site Manager and Quantity Surveying Department by compiling data to record resources utilised on each activity.
What You Will Need:
- CSCS and SSSTS.
- HNC / Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Understand civil engineering principles and practices.
- An understanding of methods, materials and technical aspects relevant to the project.
- Excellent organisation and problemâsolving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.
