We have been named a partner on a new AMP8 framework with United Utilities, which will extend our relationship for at least the next five years. The partnership is set to be responsible for over £3bn of major infrastructure in the North West of England. Investment includes upgrades to wastewater treatment works and reducing storm overflows through the delivery of the largest spill reduction programme in the UK, protecting more than 500km of rivers and bathing waters.

As Lead Operations Administrator you will be integral to shaping the efficient day-to-day operation of the site office, providing administrative, financial, and organisational support to the site management team. The role will be based at the Bolton project team site office; however, you will be required to support and attend meetings at our City Centre office in Manchester. You will oversee the overall administrative requirements of the site and support the delivery of a new £25m Waste Water Treatment Works in Bolton, Greater Manchester for the next two years.

Whilst being part of the overall Enterprise framework delivery team, you will work closely with our in‑house site‑based design and delivery teams, driving collaboration and innovation across the team, whilst organising all supporting role requirements. This role is ideal for someone with a strong site‑based background who thrives on leading teams and delivering solutions that make a real difference to our clients and communities we serve. This site‑based role will report directly to the Contracts Manager.

The Role Of Lead Operations Administrator Includes:

  • Attending events to support the management team, primarily within Manchester
  • Supporting activities for our various sites or community initiatives, including facilitating and supporting CSR and community events
  • Developing procedures and systems for our office personnel to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Supporting customer‑related tasks to ensure our clients receive outstanding service
  • Offering support to new starters, helping them integrate seamlessly into our team
  • Managing diaries and planning appointments
  • Supporting a culture of Continuous Improvement, always looking for ways to enhance our processes
  • Managing and updating charts, personnel photos, and contact information for the teams
  • Acting as an ambassador for JN Bentley, representing our values and commitment to excellence
