Here at JN Bentley we are looking for enthusiastic and positive Skilled Operative Groundworker who live in and around the Bodmin area, to join one of our existing Groundworks gangs who work across the region. In the role you will work as part of a gang on various construction sites predominantly within the water industry. You will have a proactive attitude towards work and health and safety, with experience ideally of general civils work, concreting, deep drainage and pipe laying. The ideal candidate should be multi-skilled and able to work on the machines as well as on the ground within the gang. This role is not for a dedicated Plant Operative.
Candidate Specification
- Experience within a wide range of Civil Engineering – particularly general civil work, concreting, deep drainage and pipe-laying and experience in the water industry.
- CSCS Touchscreen & 1 day Health & Safety Awareness course - Minimum requirement
- Ideally holding your CPCS / NOCN or NPORs Plant Tickets.
- CPCS / NOCN or NPORs Plant cards & NVQ for 360 Excavator, Forward Tipping Dumper, Ride on Roller, Telehandler - Advantageous
- National Water Hygiene Card
