Here at JN Bentley we are looking for enthusiastic and positive General Operative Groundworkers who live in the Reading area, to join one of our gangs who are currently working within the Thames Water Framework. In the role you will work as part of a gang on various construction sites predominantly within the water industry. You will have a proactive attitude towards work and health and safety, ideally with experience of general civils work, concreting, excavations, deep drainage and pipe laying.
Candidate Specification
- Experience within a wide range of Civil Engineering – particularly general civils work, concreting, deep drainage and pipe-laying.
- CSCS Touchscreen & 1 day Health & Safety Awareness course - Minimum requirement
- Ideally holding or working towards your CPCS / NOCN / NPORs Plant Tickets.
- Driving License essential
- Plant tickets for Forward Tipping Dumper & Ride on Roller would be advantageous, but training given if needed.
- National Water Hygiene Card
- Slinger/ Signaller
- Confined Spaces City & Guilds
- Thames Water Passport
