MMB has extended its contract with Thames Water for an additional five years, supporting the current workload beyond March 2030. This role involves delivering water, wastewater treatment and network projects, from feasibility through to detailed design stages.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Civil design services on a range of projects with a focus on time, cost, quality – right first time!
- Produce engineering calculations, specifications, drawings and reports.
- Engage with the client and collaborate with their engineering teams.
- Work collaboratively across disciplines to ensure mechanical and electrical interfaces are incorporated.
- Collaborate with the construction team and supply chain to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout the design stages, into construction and post‑project review.
- Apply both innovative and standard designs to project problems.
- Identify potential challenges to client specifications and review with the wider team.
Qualifications
- ICE‑accredited Degree in Civil Engineering (or directly related subject).
- Working towards IEng / CEng with a relevant Engineering Institution.
- UK water and/or wastewater treatment / non‑infrastructure experience (preferable).
