About us JMW Farms is part of a group of companies who are one of the UK and Ireland’s leading pig producers. We have our own transport fleet who deliver meal to our local farms from our mill and transport meal products from the port. We are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter driver, whose work will primarily involve shunting of trailers around the yard and between your base and another yard and very short distance away, ensuring health and safety is followed at all times. Job Role: Ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times Loading and offloading trailers Checking trailers for damages Report any damages to Mill Office Completing all related paperwork Checking diesel on trailers Collecting/Dropping trailers to Moy Road Site Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Any other duties as delegated by your manager Essential Criteria: Yard experience in busy transport operation HGV Class 1 License Shunting experience desirable, training will be provided in house Knowledge of yard health and safety Positive ‘can do’ attitude
