We are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter driver. The role primarily involves shunting trailers around the yard and between bases over very short distances while ensuring health and safety at all times.

About Us: JMW Farms is part of a group of companies who are one of the UK and Ireland's leading pig producers. We have our own transport fleet that delivers meal to our local farms from our mill and transports meal products from the port.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times
  • Loading and offloading trailers
  • Checking trailers for damages
  • Report any damages to Mill Office
  • Completing all related paperwork
  • Checking diesel on trailers
  • Collecting/Dropping trailers to Moy Road Site
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Any other duties as delegated by your manager

Essential Criteria:

  • Yard experience in busy transport operation
  • HGV Class 1 License
  • Shunting experience desirable, training will be provided in house
  • Knowledge of yard health and safety
  • Positive 'can do' attitude
