The role involves developing concepts directly with customers. The client designs, develops, and manufactures bespoke equipment for aerospace and military applications, working with some of the biggest blue-chip companies globally.
This position offers more than just detailed design work; you will have responsibility for dealing directly with global aerospace and defence companies, developing concepts, managing project timescales, performing detailed design, product development, and analysis, and collaborating closely with the shop floor to ensure project delivery.

Experience/Skills:
- Masters or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in dealing directly with customers to develop concepts, focusing on the sharp part of the project.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for producing 3D and 2D drawings of engineered products.
- Ability to understand and convert concept drawings from customers into manufacture-ready drawings.
- Perform engineering calculations to understand mechanical parameters of engineered parts.
- Ensure components and assemblies adhere to industry standards.
- Organise and maintain existing engineering records.
