The purpose of the job : You will be managing a highly technical engineering team working on various projects across the wider group to develop bespoke automation and modern manufacturing facilities. The team itself will work on projects such as automating a labour intensive manufacturing line including doing the concept design. You will also spend time on-site in a plant/production environment specifying new manufacturing processes, designing new machinery, automation, robotics and leading CAPEX projects. This is a senior role that will require a lot of varied engineering experience and management skills. The ideal candidate will possess a broad engineering background, demonstrating the ability to deliver highly complex engineering programs with an innovative approach and excellent problem-solving skills. You should be outgoing, enthusiastic, self-motivated, highly driven, and capable of working effectively at all levels within the business.
