Role Overview:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be at the heart of the product development team, contributing to the full lifecycle of our systems from concept and design through to prototyping, testing, and production. Your ideas will help drive efficiency, sustainability, and performance across our product range.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems.
  • Produce 3D CAD models, assembly drawings, and detailed manufacturing documentation.
  • Work cross-functionally with production, electrical, and R&D teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
  • Support design validation through testing, prototyping, and data analysis.
  • Apply FEA, DFMA, and other engineering tools to ensure robust and cost-effective designs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, including environmental and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Knowledge of materials selection, fabrication methods, and design for manufacture.
